About me

My name is Jemma Pentney and I am a graphic designer from Buckinghamshire, England, with a background in illustration, graphic and web design.

I love all things arty, I just never seem to have much time to do everything I want to do! I am currently freelance and work long hours and keeping up with my blog is difficult – so my aim is to make more time for the fun stuff! Illustration is my true love, and all I have wanted to do since I was 'knee high to a grasshopper'! I haven't done much in the way of illustration for ages, as I'm working on mostly magazines and books at the moment, so a little drawing every now and then is a real treat.

Being freelance I have now taken over our spare room and this is where I spend most of my time at the moment, in front of my computer, sipping herbal tea and working very hard!

I also won an award for packaging design. 'Young Packaging Professional 2009' to be precise! Was a great evening at Birmingham NEC where I picked up my award.

I have a great deal of experience in; magazines, books, brochures, exhibition graphics, packaging, promotional material, business stationery, branding and web design. You can check out some examples in my portfolio.
